In an isosceles trapezium one of the non parallel sides measure 5cm.what is the measure of other non parallel sides
Given: One of the non parallel side measure $5\ cm$.
To do: To find the measure of other non parallel side.
Solution:
Now we have given the trapezium, let say $ABCD$.
In the given trapezium, $AB$ and $CD$ are the parallel sides and $BC$ and $AD$ are non parallel sides.
As given that the trapezium is isosceles, then the sides $BC$ and $AD$ will be equal.
$\Rightarrow BC=AD$
Thus the other non parallel side of the given trapezium is also $5\ cm$.
