If two cubes of dimension 2cm by 2cm by 2cm are placed side by side. What would the dimensions of resulting cuboid be?
Given: Two cubes of dimension 2cm by 2cm by 2cm are placed side by side.
To do : Find the resulting cuboid's dimension.
Solution:
If two cubes of edge 2 cm each are kept side by side, the dimensions of the resulting cuboid would be as follows
Length = $2 + 2$
=$ 4 cm$;
Width, $b = 2 cm$
Height, $h = 2 cm$
So the dimensions of the resulting cuboid will be 4 cm $\times$ 2 cm $\times$ 2 cm
