If the cost price is 1,00,000 rupees and the selling price is 1,00,000 rupees, then is it a profit or loss?
Given:
Cost price $=Rs.\ 1,00,000$
Selling price $=Rs.\ 1,00,000$
To do:
We have to find if there is a profit or loss.
Solution:
We know that,
If the selling price is greater than the cost price then there is a profit.
If the selling price is less than the cost price then there is a loss.
Therefore, if S.P. $=$ C.P. $=Rs.\ 1,00,000$, then there is no profit or loss.
If the selling price is equal to the selling price then there is no profit or loss.
