If $\pi=\frac{22}{7}$, then find the distance covered in the revolution $( in\ m)$ of a wheel of diameter $35\ cm$.
Given: Diameter of a wheel is $35\ cm$.
To do: To find the distance covered in a revolution of a wheel.
Solution:
As given, diameter of a wheel$=35\ cm$
Radius of the wheel $r=\frac{35}{2}\ cm$
Therefore, circumference of the wheel $=2\pi r$
$=2\times \frac{22}{7}\times\frac{35}{2}$
$=110\ cm$
Thus, distance covered in a revolution by the wheel is $110\ cm$.
