If $\frac{2 x}{5}-\frac{3}{2}=\frac{x}{2}+1$, find the value of $x$.
Given: $\frac{2 x}{5}-\frac{3}{2}=\frac{x}{2}+1$.
To do: To find the value of $x$.
Solution:
$\frac{2x}{5}-\frac{3}{2}=\frac{x}{2}+1$
$\Rightarrow \frac{2x}{5}-\frac{x}{2}=1+\frac{3}{2}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{4x-5x}{10}=\frac{2+3}{2}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{-x}{10}=\frac{5}{2}$
$\Rightarrow x=-\frac{5}{2}\times10$
$\Rightarrow x=-25$
Thus, $x=-25$.
