If $ \angle 5: \angle 6=3: 2 $, then find the value of ∠5 and ∠6.
"
Given: ∠5 : ∠6 = 3 : 2
To find: Here we have to find the value of ∠5 and ∠6.
Solution:
Given that,
∠5 : ∠6 = 3 : 2
Let the common factor be = a
So,
∠5 = 3a
∠6 = 2a
Now,
∠5 $+$ ∠6 = 180o (Straight angle)
3a $+$ 2a = 180o
5a = 180o
a = $\frac{180}{5}$
a = 36o
Therefore,
∠5 = 3a = 3 $\times$ 36 = 108o
∠6 = 2a = 2 $\times$ 36 = 72o
