If a force of 1000 newton is applied on a 25 kg mass for 5 seconds, what would be its velocity?
Given, Force = 1000N
Mass= 25kg
We know that force = mass x acceleration
=> $1000\ =\ 25\times \ a$
=> $a\ =\ 40\ m/s^{2}$
The force has moved 25kg mass for 5 seconds.
We know that,
v = u + at
But u = 0
Therefore, v = at
=> $v\ =\ 40\times \ 5\ =\ \ 200\ m/s$
Hence the velocity attained is 200m/s.
