If $3x^2-4x-3=0$, then find the value of $x-\frac{1}{x}$.
Given: Equation:$3x^2-4x-3=0$
To do: To find the value of $x-\frac{1}{x}$.
Solution:
$3x^2-4x-3=0$
$\Rightarrow 3x^2-3=4x$
$\Rightarrow 3( x^2-1)=4x$
$\Rightarrow 3x( x-\frac{1}{x})=4x$
$\Rightarrow x-\frac{1}{x}=\frac{4x}{3x}$
$\Rightarrow x-\frac{1}{x}=\frac{4}{3}$
