How to round off numbers In nearest $100$.
Rules for rounding off to nearest $100$:
$( i)$. If in tens place we find the digit between $0-4$, i.e. $<5$, then replace ten's place with "$0$".
$( ii)$. If in ten's place we find the digit $>5$, then replace ten's place with "$0$" and increase $+1$ in hundred's place.
For example:
1. $672$
In ten's place we have digit $7$, which is $>5$. Therefore, its nearest to $800$.
2. $3,325$
In ten's place we have digit $2$, which is $<5$. Therefore, its nearest to $3,300$.
