How to find square and cube roots?
Square of Numbers:
When a number is multiplied by itself, the product is called a square or square number.
For example,
Square of 5 is,
$5 \times 5 = 25$. Here, 25 is the square of 5.
The square root of numbers:
A square root of a number is a value that, when multiplied by itself, gives the number. or,
The square root of a number x is a number y such that $y. (y) = x$.
In other words, a number y whose square (the result of multiplying the number by itself, or y ⋅ y) is x.
For example,
$5 \times 5 = 25$. So, square root of 25 is 5.
Perfect cubes:
To cube a number, we multiply a number 3 times.
For example, a cube of 5 is,
$5^3 = 5 \times 5\times 5 = 125$
Therefore, the Cube of 5 is 125.
Cube root :
The cube root of a number is the value that when cubed gives the original number.
Cube root can be found by prime factorization.
For example, the cube root of 216 is,
$216 = 2 \times 2\times 2 \times 3 \times 3\times 3 = (2\times 3)^3 = 6^3$
Therefore, the cube-root of 216 is 6.
