How to factorise ?
Solution:
We can factorize numbers and expressions
To find factors of a number, we divide the given number by prime numbers successively till we completely divide it and get all of its prime factors
Example: 48 = 2 $\times$2 $\times$ 2 $\times$ 2 $\times$ 3
To factorize expressions we use results of algebraic identities like
$(x+y)^{2}, (x-y)^{2}, x^{2} - y^{2}$ and so on
Factorizing an expression means writing the expression as a product of factors
Example: $ a + ab = a(1+b)$
$ c^{2} - d^{2} = (c + d)(c - d)$
