Some of the types of Wool are given below:
- Cashmere Wool- Cashmere is one of the most expensive and luxurious types of wool.
- Mohair Wool. - Mohair and cashmere come from goats. Mohair comes from the Angora goat. The goat has a long shaggy coat that is generally clipped twice per year, Each shearing will yield approximately 5.3 pounds of wool.
- Merino Wool- Merino wool is one of the world's most common types of wool
- Alpaca Wool- Alpaca has been breeded by South Americans for their wool.
- Camel Wool- Camel wool is insulative but it is less durable from other types of Wool.
- Virgin Wool-Virginr Wool is made up of lambs first shearing
- Angora Wool- angoora Wool comes from special breed of rabbit
- Vicuna Wool- It is the most expensive type of wool. Vicuna is a relative to Alpaca ,but it is only found in Peru.
