We have to find the number of three-digit numbers we can make by using the given digits.
Solution :
To form a 3 digit number with the given digits without repeating we cannot have zero at hundred's places.
Therefore,
When 5 is at hundred's places 0 can be at tens place and 9 can be at one's place or 9 can be at tens place and 0 can be at one's place.
The numbers formed are 509 and 590.
Similarly,
When 9 is at hundred's places 0 can be at tens place and 5 can be at one's place or 5 can be at tens place and 0 can be at one's place.
The numbers formed are 905 and 950.
Four 3 digit numbers can be formed with the given digits.
