How can we do the multiplication of polynomials?
Answer:
When multiplying a polynomial by another polynomial the following steps are to be followed
1.Distribute each term of the first polynomial to every term of the second polynomial. Remember that when you multiply two terms together you must multiply the coefficient (numbers) and add the exponents.
2.Combine like terms (if you can).
Example:
$(x + y ) (x - y)$
= $x^{2} -xy + yx -y^{2}$
= $x^{2} - y^{2}$
