How Can We Do The Multiplication Of Monomials ?
Solution:
Monomials are polynomials with only one term.
A monomial is a single term that is a product of a constant, a variable, and exponent(s).
Examples of monomials: $7p^2, y^4, 12a^3b$
Monomials cannot include addition or subtraction signs.
So the following are NOT monomials: $3x + 8y, 17p – 8q$
There are two steps to follow when multiplying monomials:
1). Multiply the coefficients (constants).
2). Multiply the variables. Monomials can be multiplied with other monomials, binomials, trinomials and polynomials of higher degrees
