How are seeds different from grains ?
Seed is an embryonic plant. It is developed from reproductive part of plant. The three vital components of a seed are embryo, endosperm, and seed coat. A seed can develop into a new plant.
Grain is the seed or fruit of grasses. Grain has four vital components such as embryo, endosperm, seed coat, and bran. Grain cannot develop into a new plant but it can be used as a seed.
