Give two examples of slow changes.
Two examples of slow changes:
(a) Growing of plants
(b) Ripening of fruits
Extra information:
A change is an act or a process of becoming different.
Slow change: The changes that take place over a long period of time are called slow changes. For example, the rusting of iron, the formation of day and night, the ripening of fruits, and the growth of trees are slow changes.
Fast change: The changes that take place in a short period of time are called fast changes. Some of these changes can also occur spontaneously and are over within seconds. Examples: the burning of paper, the stretching of a rubber band, the blowing of balloons, and the bursting of crackers are fast changes.
