Give two examples of reversible changes.
Extra information: Reversible Changes are those changes that can be reversed easily to form the 'original substance'.
For example, ice melts into water, and water freezes to form ice.
It is a temporary change. The chemical properties of a substance are not affected by a reversible change. Most physical changes are reversible changes in nature.
Example:
1. Sublimation- Transition of a substance directly from the solid to the gas state, without passing the liquid phase.
2. Glowing of the electric bulb. (When switched on the bulb glows and when switched off the bulb becomes dark.)
3. Distillation of liquids- It is the process of purifying a liquid by a process of heating and cooling.
4. Melting of chocolate- solid chocolate can be melted into liquid on heating and vice versa on cooling.
