Give three examples of shapes with no line of symmetry.
To do: To give three examples of shapes with no line of symmetry.
Solution:
A line of symmetry is a line that divides an object into two equal pieces. When a figure is folded in half, the two halves coincide exactly along its line of symmetry. This line of symmetry is called the axis of symmetry.
A scalene triangle, parallelogram, and a trapezium have no lines of symmetry as shown below because no line divides these figures into two equal figures.
