Find x from the following:
"
Given :
$∠A = 70°$ and $∠ACD = 135°$
To do :
We have to find the value of x.
Solution :
We know that,
The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180°.
The sum of the angles on a straight line is 180°.
Therefore,
$∠ACD + ∠ACB = 180°$
$135° + ∠ACB = 180°$
$∠ACB = 180° - 135°$
$∠ACB = 45°$
In triangle ABC,
$∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°$
$70° + ∠B + 45° = 180°$
$∠B = 180° - 115°$
$∠B = 65°$
Therefore, $∠B = 65°$.
The value of x is 65°.
