Find the volume of the cube, if one face of the cube has an area of 121 Sq.m.
Given :
Area of the face of a cube $= 121 sq. m$.
To do :
We have to find the volume of the cube.
Solution :
Let the side of the cube be 's' m.
Area of the face of a cube $= s^2$ sq. m.
$121 sq. m. = s^2$sq. m.
$11 \times 11 sq. m. = s^2$ sq. m.
$s = 11 m$.
The volume of a cube of side $s = s^3 m^3$.
The volume of the given cube $= (11)^3 m^3 = 1331 m^3$.
Therefore, the volume of the cube is $1331 m^3$
