To do:
We have to find the value of $x$.
Solution:
\( 5 x+2(x+7)=14 x-7 \)
$\Rightarrow 5x+2(x)+2(7)=14x-7$
$ \Rightarrow 7x+14=14x-7$
$\Rightarrow 14x-7x=14+7$
$\Rightarrow 7x=21$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{21}{7}$
$\Rightarrow x=3$
The value of $x$ is $3$.
