Find the value of x from the following expression.$\frac{x}{10} + \frac{x+1}{17} + \frac{x+2}{26} = 10$
Given :
The given equation is $\frac{x}{10} +\frac{x+1}{17} +\frac{x+2}{26} =10$
To find :
We have to find the value of x.
Solution :
LCM of 10,17 and 26 is,
$10 = 2\times 5$
$17=1\times 17$
$26=2\times 13$
LCM of 10,17 and 26 $= 2\times 5\times 17\times 13=2210$
$\frac{221( x) +130( x+1) +85( x+2)}{2210} =10$
$221x+130x+130+85x+170=22100$
$436x=22100-300$
$436x=21800$
$x = \frac{21800}{436}$
$x=50$
The value of x is 50.
