Given: Surface area of the cube is $6\ cm^2$.
To do: To find the side of the cube.
Solution:
Let $a$ be the side of the cube.
$\therefore$ Surface Area of the cube$=6a^2$
$\Rightarrow 6a^2=6$
$\Rightarrow a^2=\frac{6}{6}$
$\Rightarrow a^2=1$
$\Rightarrow a=\sqrt{1}$
$\Rightarrow a=1$
thus, the side of the cube is $1\ cm$
