Find the ratios of the following :
(a) 45 kg to 180 kg
(b) 4 cm to 5 cm
Given :
The given terms are (a) 45 kg to 180 kg and (b) 4 cm to 5 cm.
To do :
We have to find the ratio of the given terms.
Solution :
(a) 45 kg to 180 kg
We know that,
$45 kg : 180 kg = 45\times1 : 45\times4 = 1:4$.
Therefore, the ratio of 45 kg to 180 kg is 1:4.
(b) 4 cm to 5 cm
$ 4 cm : 5 cm = 4:5$
Therefore, the ratio of 4 cm to 5 cm is 4:5.
