Find the ratio of 50 km per hour to 30 m per second.
Given :
The given terms are 50 km per hour and 30 m per second.

To do :
We have to find the ratio of the given terms.
Solution :
Convert 50 km per hour to m per second.
We know that $1 km = 1000 m, 1 hour = 3600 seconds$.
So, $50 \frac{km}{hr} = 50 \frac{1 \times 1000}{1 \times 3600}$
$ = 50 \frac{10}{36} = \frac{500}{36}$ m per second.
Now, $\frac{500}{36}:30$
$\Rightarrow 500:30\times 36$
$\Rightarrow 500: 1080$
$\Rightarrow 50: 108 = 25:54$
Therefore, the ratio of 50 km per hour and 30 m per second is 25: 54.
