Find the perimeter of the rectangle.$l=35 \mathrm{~cm}, b=28 \mathrm{~cm}$
Given:
The measurements of the rectangle are:
\( l=35 \mathrm{~cm}, b=28 \mathrm{~cm} \)
To do:
We have to find the perimeter of the given rectangle.
Solution:
We know that,
Perimeter of a rectangle of length $l$ and breadth $b$ is $2(l+b)$.
Therefore,
Perimeter of the rectangle of measurements ( $l=35\ cm, b=28\ cm) =2(35+28)\ cm$
$=2(63)\ cm$
$=126\ cm$.
The perimeter of the given rectangle is $126\ cm$.
