We have to find the marked price.
Solution :
Let the Marked price be Rs x.
We know that,
Selling price $=$ Marked price $-$ Discount.
$5600 = x - 990$
$x=5600+990$
$x=6590$
Therefore, the marked price (MP) is Rs. 6590.
