Here given, Time $t=10\ sec.$
Final velocity $v=0$
Retardation $a=-2.5\ m/s^2$
Let $u$ be the initial velocity.
On using the equation of motion $v=u+at$
$0=u+10\times(-2.5)$
Or $u=25\ m/s$
