Find the distance between the 2 points (3,2) and (2,3).

Given :

The given points are (3, 2) and (2, 3).

To do :

We have to find the distance between the two points.

Solution :

The distance between the two points $(x_{1}, y_{1})$ and $(x_{2}, y_{2})$ is $\sqrt{(y_{2}-y_{1})^2 + (x_{2} - x_{1})^2}$

Here, $(x_{1}, y_{1}) = (3, 2)$

$(x_{2}, y_{2}) = (2, 3)$

Distance $= \sqrt{(3-2)^2 + (2-3)^2}$

$ = \sqrt{1^2 + (-1)^2}$

$ = \sqrt{1+1}$

$ = \sqrt{2}$

The distance between the two points (3, 2) and (2, 3) is $\sqrt{2}$.
