Find the cost of fencing a park which cost 22.50rs per meter of a square field of side 25m

Given: Side of square  =  25 m

Cost of Fencing per meter = 22.50₹

To find:  Cost of fencing the park

Solution:

Fencing should be done at the boundary of the square park., so it is related to the perimeter,

Perimeter of square  =  4 $\times$ side of square

                                      =  4 $\times$ 25

The perimeter of square  =  100 m

Cost of fencing park = Perimeter of square  $\times$ Cost of Fencing per meter

                                   =  100  $\times$ 22.50

                                    =  2250

Cost of fencing park  =  2250₹
