To find: We have to find four rational numbers between 5 and 6, and 0 and 1.
Solution:
4 rational numbers between 5 and 6
Let divide region between 5 and 6 on number line into 5 equal parts
5= $\frac{5}{1} = \frac{5\times5}{1\times5} = \frac{25}{5} and 6 = \frac{6}{1} = \frac{6\times5}{1\times5} = \frac{30}{5}$
It is same as finding 4 rational numbers between $\frac{25}{5}$ and $\frac{30}{5}$
So the four rational numbers can be $\frac{26}{5}$, $\frac{27}{5}$, $\frac{28}{5}$, $\frac{29}{5}$.
Next finding 4 rational numbers between 0 and 1.
Dividing region between 0 and 1 on number line into 5 parts.
0 is same as $\frac{0}{5}$ and 1 is same as $\frac{5}{5}$
So four rational numbers between 0 and 1 or $\frac{0}{5}$ and $\frac{5}{5}$ are
$\frac{1}{5}$. $\frac{2}{5}$, $\frac{3}{5}$, $\frac{4}{5}$
