Factorize x2-12 y2-2xy+ 6xy

Given: $x^2-12 y^2-2xy+ 6xy

To Do:  Factorize the above number.

Answer:

 $x^2-12 y^2-2xy+ 6xy$

=$x^2-2xy+6xy-12y^2$

= $x(x - 2y) + 6y(x -2y)$

= $(x + 6y)(x - 2y)$

So , $x^2-12 y^2-2xy+ 6xy$

= $(x + 6y)(x - 2y)$
