Explain why, a wide steel belt is provided over the wheels of an army tank.
As we know pressure is inversely proportional to the surface area. So, in army tank a wide steel belt is provided over its wheels to increase area of contact to the ground so that it can reduce the pressure on the ground and can stop the tank sink.
