The above picture shows an experiment showing Hydrotropism, where the root is curved and is moving towards the water in the beaker.
Plants move in a different way than Animals. Plants may either show a positive or negative movement as a response to a stimulus. When a plant shows some growth movement in response to a stimulus, it is called tropism. Hydrotropism is the process of growth or movement of roots towards the source of water.
