Explain rainbow formation.

A Rainbow is formed because of refraction. When the sunlight enters the droplets, the light bends as it enters into dense water from the air. Now the light gets reflected when it hits the inner surface of the droplet, breaking into components of several wavelengths(colors). When we see these colors it would appear like a rainbow.
