Evaluate the following:$2\times 149+45÷89-23$.

Given :

The given expression is $2\times 149+45÷89-23$.

To do :

We have to evaluate the given expression.

Solution :

We use BODMAS method in this type of problems.

 $2\times 149+45÷89-23= 2\times 149+ \frac{45}{89} -23$

                                      $= 298 - 23 +\frac{45}{89} $

                                      $=275+ \frac{45}{89}$

                                     $= \frac{275 \times 89+45}{89}$

                                     $= \frac{24475+45}{89}$

                                    $= \frac{24520}{89}$

Therefore, the value of the given expression is $\frac{24520}{89}$.

2×149+45÷8923=2×149+458923=29823+4589=275+4589=275×89+4589=24475+4589=24520892\times 149+45\div 89-23=2\times 149+\frac{45}{89} -23=298-23+\frac{45}{89} =275+\frac{45}{89} =\frac{275\times 89+45}{89} =\frac{24475+45}{89} =\frac{24520}{89}
