$= 298 - 23 +\frac{45}{89} $
$=275+ \frac{45}{89}$
$= \frac{275 \times 89+45}{89}$
$= \frac{24475+45}{89}$
$= \frac{24520}{89}$
Therefore, the value of the given expression is $\frac{24520}{89}$.
