Evaluate:$3y(2y-7) - 3(y-4)-63$ for $y=-2$.

Given :

The given expression is $3y(2y-7) - 3(y-4)-63$.

To do :

We have to find the value of $3y(2y-7) - 3(y-4)-63$ at $y=-2$.

Solution :

Substitute $y=-2$ at $3y(2y-7) - 3(y-4)-63$.

$\Rightarrow 3(-2)(2(-2)-7) - 3((-2)-4)-63$

$\Rightarrow -6(-4-7) - 3(-6)-63$

$\Rightarrow -6(-11)-18-63$

$\Rightarrow 66 - 81$

$\Rightarrow -15$.

Therefore, the value of $3y(2y-7) - 3(y-4)-63$ a $y=2$ is $-15$.
