Difference between kinematics and dynamics.

Kinematics is the branch of mechanics, which is concerned with the motion of particles and bodies, without taking into account the factors that cause motion. It takes into account quantities such as acceleration, velocity, displacement.

Dynamics is the branch of mechanics, which is concerned with the motion of bodies under the action of forces. Therefore, calculations in dynamics, involve masses and forces.
