Define the terms 'frequency', 'wavelength' and 'velocity' of a sound wave. What is the relation between them?
Frequency of Sound: Number of cycles or vibrations in a second is known as the frequency of sound. It is denoted by $f$. Its unit is $per\ second$ or $Hz$.
Wavelength of Sound: The distance between two crests or troughs in a sound wave is known as the wave length of sound.
Velocity of sound: Distance travelled in a second by a sound is the velocity of sound. It is denoted by $v$ and its SI unit is $m/s$.
