Can you name anything that can travel faster than the speed of light?
According to the theory of relativity published by Einstein in 1905, there is no object that can travel faster than light. It states that an object gains mass as it speeds up and that speeding up would require more energy. The more the mass, the more energy is required to speed it up. Thus when a body reaches the speed of light, the mass would increase to infinite, and so the energy that is needed to speed it up. We know that infinite is the maximum possible one and to go beyond infinite is impossible. Thus there is no object that can travel faster than light.
