Yes, the displacement can be zero. Because the change in the position of an object is known as the displacement.
Here are two example when the displacement is zero:
1. An objects starts journey from point $A$ comes back to $A$ via $B$, $C$ and $D$. The displacement is zero.
2. An object completes the journey over a circular path, the displacement would be zero.
Because in both the situations, there is no change in the position. hence the displacement is zero.
