Calculate the formula unit mass of NaCl and CaCl2-(Na = 23, Cl = 35.5, Ca = 40)
Formula unit mass of NaCl
= 23 + 35.5
= 58.5 u
Formula unit mass of CaCl2
= 40 + (2 x 35.5)
= 40 + 71
= 111 u
