Calculate the force of gravitation between two objects of masses 50 kg and 120 kg respectively kept at a distance of 10 m from one another. $(Gravitational\ constant, G=6.7\times10^{-11}\ N-m^2/kg^{-2})$
As given, the mass of the first object $m_1=50\ kg$
Mass of the second object $m_2=120\ kg$
Distance between the object $r=10\ m$
$G=6.7\times10^{-11}\ Nm^2kg^{-2}$
Therefore, the gravitation force of attraction $F=G\frac{m_1m_2}{r^2}$
$=6.7\times10^{-11}\ Nm^2kg^{-2}\times\frac{50\ kg\times120\ kg}{10^2}$
$=6.7\times10^{-11}\times60$
$=4.02\times10^{-9}\ N$
Therefore, the gravitation force of attraction between the two masses is $4.02\times10^{-9}\ N$.
