Number of bacteria $=5$.
Percentage of bacteria vanished after cleaning $=60 \%$
To do:
We have to find the count of bacteria that is still present in the vessel after cleaning.
Solution:
Number of bacteria vanished $=5-\frac{60}{100}\times5$
$=5-3$
$=2$
The count of bacteria that is still present in the vessel after cleaning $=$ Number of bacteria $-$ Number of bacteria vanished
$=5-2$
$=3$
