State whether True or False:
A man pushing a box is a static friction
Static friction is a force that tends to keep an object at rest. So if a man is pushing a box and the box doesn't move it is applying an opposite force and it keeps the box at rest. But if the man applies more force than the box is applying to keep its position at rest it would move and it won't be static friction anymore. Because it is not mentioned if the object is moving or not let us assume it is at rest then it is static friction, so it is TRUE
