Explain: We can easily move our hand in the air but to do the same through a solid block of wood, we need a karate expert.
We can move our hand in the air because the molecules in the air are loosely packed with one another. So when we move, the loosely packed molecules give way to the tightly-packed molecules (ie our hand).
In a solid block of wood, the molecules are tightly packed. So we need to karate it.
