(a). The objects designed in fish or bird shape to reduce the drag(in fluids and air) are called streamlined shape objects.

For example:- Cars, airplanes, and boats have streamlined shapes.

 

(b). To minimize the drag(friction) offered by fluids, the objects moving in fluids are designed streamlined shape. The streamlined shape of the moving objects helps to move in fluids easily as this type of shape reduces the friction very much.
