Are every number ending with 1, 4, 5, 9, and 0 a perfect square?

Solution :

No, not all numbers ending with 0,1,4,5 and 0 are perfect squares.

All perfect squares end in 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, or 00 (even number of zeros). Therefore, a number that ends in 2, 3, 7, or 8 is not a perfect square.

For example,

101,104,105,106, 109 and 110 are not perfect squares.
