Are atoms of all elements stable?
Dear Maanya,
An atom is stable if the forces among the particles that makeup the nucleus are balanced i.e it is composed of an equal amount of three components: protons, neutrons, and electrons. Protons have a positive electrical charge, neutrons are neutral, and electrons have a negative charge. These components of atoms balance each other when present in equal number then the atom becomes stable.
So, No atoms of all elements are not stable.
